Children's Privacy

Last updated: May 2026

Kids Curiosity Club makes educational audio for children and families. Protecting kids' privacy is central to how we operate. This page explains, in plain language, how we handle children's privacy. It is designed with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the UK/EU "age-appropriate" rules (GDPR-K) in mind.

The short version

1. Information we collect

Browsing our website does not require any personal information. We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics (see below) to understand how many people visit and which pages are popular. This data is not used to identify individual children.

2. Analytics

We use Google Analytics to measure overall, anonymous site usage (for example, page views and general device type). We have it configured to avoid collecting information used to identify individuals, and we do not use it to build profiles of children. You can opt out site-wide with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

3. No targeted advertising to children

We do not run behavioral advertising and do not allow third parties to use our site to target children with ads.

4. Listening on other platforms

Our episodes are also available through podcast apps and directories (such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and others). When you listen there, that platform's own privacy practices apply. We encourage parents to review the privacy settings of any app their child uses.

5. Parental rights

Parents and guardians may ask us what information (if any) we hold relating to their child, and request that we delete it. Because we do not knowingly collect personal information from children, in most cases there will be nothing to delete. To make a request, email [email protected].

6. If we ever change what we collect

If we ever introduce a feature that would collect personal information from children (for example, letting kids send in questions), we will update this page first and, where the law requires it, obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting anything.
